Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her part as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk have been the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials when she was a young child. She was in 1997 when she received a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met during an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. The couple got married in December of 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. Following her conversion to Judaism and they renew their vows in the Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's television work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. The role was assigned to her of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant while filming the finale of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she's ready to go back to work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named them the Top TV Couple in 2013.
